My role in the production team for Viva Media was a Runner / Production Assistant for Marisa Beaumont-Conway.
I applied for this week of experience after meeting Marisa at a session put on by our course leader Heledd Hardy in which people from the industry are invited in to talk about their career to us. It was from this I found the job of a Producer very appealing and decided to apply for experience to get some more in depth knowledge of what the job required.
Viva Media was approached by ASDinfoWales to create video resources that could be shared with parents and carers of children with ASD, individuals with ASD as well as carers and other proffesionals.
I worked alongside a very talented production group who were aware of my student status and were constantly advising me and teaching me.
Marisa then went on to employ me for her project which was producing another set of video resources for Teaching assistants.
I am so grateful for this experience and for working with such an amazing production team.

Fe wnes i gwneud cais am profiad gwaith ar ol cwrdd efo Marisa mewn sesiwn 'Gwesteion y Gyfryngau' cafodd ei rhoi ymlaen gan arweinydd ein cwrs, Heledd Hardy. Dyma lle mae pobl o'r diwydiant yn cael ei gwahodd i mewn i siarad am eu gyrfaoedd i ni. Yr oedd o'r sesiwn yma efo Marisa fe wnes i cael atyniad i'r swydd Cynhyrchydd ac yna ddewisais i cymryd fantais o'r cyfle a gwneud cais efo Marisa i gael wythnos o brofiad efo'i cwmni, i weld yn fanwl manylion swydd Cynhyrchydd.
Cafodd Viva Media Ltd ei dynesu gan ASDinfoCymru i creu adnoddau gweledol gall cael ei rhannu gan rhieni a gofalwyr plant efo ASD, unigolion efo ASD ac hefyd gofalwyr a pobl proffesiynol arall.
Gweithiais wrth ymyl grwp cynhyrchu talentog iawn oedd yn ymwybodol o fy statws myfyrwr a oedd wastad yn parod i rhoi cyngor cyson i mi.
Aeth Marisa ymlaen i gyflogi mi ar gyfer cynhyrchiad arall or adnoddau fideo y tro yma am Cynorthwywyr Addysgu.
Rwyf yn môr ddiolchgar am y profiad yma ac am weithio efo tîm cynhyrchu môr anhygoel.
